So unfortunately nobody made an 'A' on today's oral exam, although some of you were close. Everybody is required to meet with me during office hours this week to go over your recordings and to re-record, and this will be your final opportunity to earn an 'A' on this assignment. NO se olviden: Van a tener que llamar GV y hablar por 1:30-2 minutos sobre uno de los temas a continación EN CLASE el martes:

1. Mi vida diaria (voy, salgo, hago, etc.)
2. Los programas de television ((no) me gusta(n)/encanta(n), etc los programas ... porque son...)
3. Describe lo que haces cada mañana desde que abres los ojos hasta que sales para ir a la escuela (verbos reflexivos)

*Work with somebody to practice thorough, accurate answers which show a depth and breadth of vocabulary. Help each other.
*If you like, call in samples to GV in advance for my feedback.

In class we began with an excercise of sending texts. We as a class utalized an internet pool to answer spanish questions.
Next we red a passage in our book about a girl named Ana and a boy named Tomas.
Ana is being interviewed for the school newspaper.

Hago la cama, tomo el desayuno, pongo los libros en la mochila y salgo de casa a las 7:30.

We started the day by talking about "como va a termiar el mundo?" or how will the world end?

we learned some vocab so we could read a story by Marco Denevi

Bastar = to be enough   Disponible = availible   en cambio = on the other hand 

Ocurrir, Sucedar, pasar = to happen   El siglo = century  Tropezar (e-ie) = to trip over

Ya no =no longer

we filled in some blanks using the vocab and then worked out the meaning of some questions

alcanzar = to reach
