Chapter 3 Final Project

Kudos! Overall I'm very happy with what you have done with the MovieMaker/iMovie projects. I feel it was a great way to expose you to some technology you will need in the future and to learn a lot of Spanish and Latin American culture in listening to one of the region's biggest music sensations, Javier García.

I think music is a powerful way to teach language, and now that you have experience under your belt with all of this newfangled technology - and because you seem to be embracing these kinds of assignments - I've decided I'm not going to give a traditional pen and paper test on Chapter 3. Instead, in my near-infinite generosity ; )- it will be a project similar to your last project. Here are the details...

(50 points) Project Requirements (READ ALL OF THESE CAREFULLY. THE BURDEN IS ON YOU TO MEET ALL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS):

*For the song below, produce a movie with either original images (photos/videos YOU have taken of yourself or others acting out the lyrics - RECOMMENDED) or images you have culled from Google Images (less desirable but acceptable).

*This time, you must include the lyrics on your slides, as did Isaac in his last production. Be careful with spelling. Find a way to incorporate accents. I can supply you guidelines for both Windows and Mac machines if you need.

*You MUST include at the beginning a title slide with your name and school as well as an image of our Realidades 3 textbook before the song starts (you can find this on line easily enough). This is to help ease the copyright issue...

*Due date is Thursday, January 6th.

*10% off per day for late submissions.
